Many of us have mixed understanding as to who Jesus Christ is. In this passage we see Jesus interacting with two sisters who happened to have lost their brother. Jesus comes into the family to offer comfort but at the same time we begin to gain a deeper understanding about Jesus. One is we get to know who Jesus is. But, secondly, we get to know what he does. Jesus encounters Peter 27/03/2020
It is a few days after Jesus’ resurrection and Peter and the other disciples decided to go out fishing. During this outing, Jesus appears to this them. This time Peter’s encounter of Jesus signals a permanent change in his life. Here we learn three things about the gospel. The first one is that there is unity of the gospel. The second is that we see the gospel at work in the life of Peter. Lastly, we learn more about the work of the gospel. This sermon was preached from John 21:1-17.

In life we are bound to encounter suffering. We will face some challenging times. What is interesting is that during those moments will have people around us. They will offer all sorts of thoughts and ideas in their attempt at consoling us.Here you have Job, a man who is going through a tough time. How does he respond?
